Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many Affirms Government’s Commitment to National Well-being

PHNOM PENH, July 24, 2024 — Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many, who also serves as the Minister of Public Works, recently emphasized the Cambodian government's dedication to serving the nation’s interests, exclusively benefiting the people of Cambodia.

In a statement released via social media on the afternoon of July 24, Hun Many reflected on his observations and learnings from the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Cooperation Triangle, an initiative spearheaded by former Prime Minister Hun Sen. He stressed that the government’s actions are solely aimed at the advancement of the nation and its citizens.

During his discourse, Hun Many detailed the economic, social, and political foundations of the cooperation framework, noting its substantial benefits to the communities within the cooperation area. He highlighted the tangible outcomes of development and investment projects that have significantly impacted both the local provinces involved in the triangle and the broader Cambodian populace.

Hun Many also addressed attempts to misrepresent and undermine the government’s efforts, labeling such actions as detrimental to society. He urged for those responsible to be held legally accountable for their actions, which he described as incitement.

The Deputy Prime Minister called on all Cambodians to place their trust in the Royal Government of Cambodia, currently led by the Cambodian People's Party, reiterating its commitment to prioritizing national and public interests.
